Nigerian Lady put up for sale by Lebanese to finally return home
Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) on Saturday announced that the Nigerian woman, Peace Busari, who was put on sale by a Lebanese on Facebook was finally returning to Nigeria after she was rescued by the Nigerian mission in Lebanon in April
The Lebanese, Wael Jerro was arrested for putting Peace Busari up for sale on a Facebook group called ‘Buy and sale Lebanon’, he sent in an image alongside the data page of the 30-year-old Nigerian.
Confirming her return, Abike-Dabiri on her official Twitter page said she will be returning to Nigeria alongside one Temitope who was forcefully held by her employers.
“Finally! Coming home!! Temitope, held behind by her employers and not allowed to board the last evacuation flight from Lebanon,and Peace Busari, put up for sale on Facebook a few months back.
“Many thanks to Chair house diaspora committee @ToluSadipe, NAPTIP, the Nigerian mission in Lebanon and the Lebanese Ambassador to Nigeria for collaborative efforts to bring them back home.”
Thank God for them.
Thank God for that! But our leaders should do everything possible to make Nigeria a living place her citizens because it’s only rich that are enjoying this place.
