21-year-old stabs friend to death over Girlfriend in Bauchi

21-year-old Ishaku has been arrested by the Bauchi state police command for stabbing his friend, Zeloti John to death over a girl.

Reports have it that the incident occurred in a drinking joint in Dass on Friday May 29 as an argument over who was the girls real boyfriend led Ishaku to stab Zeloti with a knife in three different parts of his body.

Zeloti was rushed to the Dass General Hospital where he was confirmed dead. He was buried on Monday June 1.

The incident was confirmed by the Bauchi State Police Command’s spokesperson DSP Ahmed Wakili as he stated that the suspect has been arrested as investigation is ongoing to uncover the cause of the murder.
