To any Person suffering domestic violence, involve Police not Pastor – Victoria Inyama
Former Nollywood Actress, Victoria Inyama has shared an advice to people suffering from domestic violence saying rather than involve their pastors they should involve their Family and the Police.
She said this sharing her story with her estranged husband, Godwin Okri in whose hands she endured years of physical and emotional abuse.
She told of how her pastor begged her to never call the police but rather pray about the situation.
When she took the case to court, she said the pastor refused to stand as a witness. She added that her estranged husband has refused to divorce her, despite saying that she’s a terrible person.
