Thugs set Imo INEC Office on Fire
The Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC office in Orlu local government in Imo state has been set on fire by suspected thugs on Monday, 3rd February.
Orlando Ikeokwu, police spokesman in the state confirmed the news. “I can confirm the incident to you but the cause of fire outbreak is unknown for now. The state commissioner of police has dispatched security operatives to the scene of the incident,” he said.
The incident is believed to be connected to the recent Supreme court judgement which sacked Emeka Ihedioha as governor of the state and pronounced Hope Uzodinma as winner.
