Governor of Ekiti state to set up rice mills in the state.
Governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi has announced that he is currently in talks with Dangote, Coscharis and Stallion group industries limited to set up rice mills in the state. He also stated that two cassava processing companies are setting up shop in Ekiti State to absorb cassava produce in the State.
The statement was shared on the official twitter handle of the Ekiti State Government. The post read in part;
“BREAKING: The Government of Ekiti State is currently in talks with Dangote, Coscharis and Stallion Group Industries Limited to set up rice mills in the State. This development is part of Governor Kayode Fayemi’s @kfayemi economic diversification plans for Ekiti State.
Equally, two cassava processing companies are setting up shop in Ekiti State to absorb cassava produce in the State.
To drive the investment agenda, Governor Fayemi has seen to the establishment of the Ekiti Development and Investment Promotion Agency (EKDIPA) to leverage the State’s investment potentials to create more jobs.
The Fayemi-led administration is putting in place incentives that would attract investors like favourable framework, tax relief, security, among others.”
