Ekiti State Governor signs new bill preventing abandonment of projects.
The Governor of Ekiti state, Dr Kayode Fayemi has signed a new transition bill into law. The bill is meant to prevent succeeding governments from abandoning projects initiated by past administrations.
This was revealed in the official twitter handle of the Ekiti State government on Wednesday, 16th October. It further stated that the Transition law, which is the first in the country, will check the wanton abandonment of projects simply because they were not initiated by the incumbent.
